About Karu Ajira Digital Club
Student-based club at Karatina University for the Ajira Digital Programme
Our Story
Karu Ajira Digital Club is a student-driven community at Karatina University dedicated to equipping students with digital skills and preparing them for opportunities in the online workspace. The club is part of the nationwide Ajira Digital Program, a government initiative that seeks to empower youth to access and thrive in the digital economy.
We provide training, mentorship, and peer-to-peer learning in areas such as freelancing, content creation, digital marketing, transcription, data analysis, and graphics design. Our members also gain exposure through workshops, guest speaker sessions, and networking opportunities with industry professionals.
Beyond digital skills, we champion innovation, entrepreneurship, and community impact. The club organizes outreach programs to extend digital literacy beyond the university and actively participates in expos, hackathons, and team-building events. As well as the Charity activities.
